Curator | Tracey Eller is a portrait and editorial photographer based in Easthampton, MA who has been exploring the subjects of loss, love, and, transformation through self-portraiture. Building upon this experience, Tracey is curating an exhibition across multiple mediums and genres related to “self-portraiture as medicine”.
Tracey will be looking for images that express that “need to go within…” and finding the inner vulnerability and transformation that ensues. Ultimately the final selection of artwork will seek to create a powerful and engaging platform that is rich with the themes of love, loss, vulnerability and transformation.
About MAP Gallery | MAP Gallery is located on the main floor of Eastworks, located in the historic Mill District of Easthampton, MA. The Mill Arts Project (MAP) is a collaboration between Easthampton City Arts and Eastworks and is specifically designed to support an emerging curatorial program in a public, community-based setting. MAP Gallery is approximately 650 square feet. Exhibiting at MAP Gallery includes a monthly Art Walk event, drawing 200-500 people each month. Email tracey@ellerimages.com with any questions.
